SPOKEN PHRASES : - THE USE OF " BETTER "

1 - THAT'S BETTER

- Used to praise or encourage someone . 'Try running faster ! That's better !'
- Used when trying to comfort someone or make them feel less upset.
'Come on ! Give me a hug . There, that's better !'

- Used to give advice about what someone should do. 'He'd better study hard.'
- Used to threaten someone. 'You'd be better keep your mouth shut about this episode.'

- Used to suggest that someone should do one thing rather than another .
'It would be better to buy a blue T-shirt rather a red one.'

- Used when suggesting that someone should do something differently or change their situation.
